Refund Policy

This refund policy applies only to funds paid directly to Billie Smith Driving Solutions and held on your behalf.

Funds paid in advance for driving lessons must be used to book lessons within one month of the original payment date. Lessons booked within this period may take place at a later agreed date.

If no lessons are booked or taken and there has been no contact for a prolonged period, the account may be considered inactive and Billie Smith Driving Solutions reserves the right to close the account.

If you decide within this one month period that you no longer wish to continue with your prepaid lessons, you may request a refund of the unused balance. Refunds will be processed within five working days and will be returned to the original payment card.

Only one refund is permitted per client account.

A maximum of two attempts will be made to process a refund to the nominated account. If further attempts are required, an additional administration fee may be deducted from the remaining balance.

Any prepaid funds that have not been used to book lessons within the one month period will expire and the account may be closed without notice.


Lesson Attendance and Collection

The instructor will wait up to 15 minutes at the agreed collection address for the start of the lesson. If the pupil does not attend within this time, the lesson will be recorded as a late cancellation and charged at the full lesson price.

Any requests to change the collection or drop-off address must be made at least 24 hours in advance during office hours (Monday - Friday). If notice is not given, the instructor will attend the originally agreed location.

Requests to change collection or drop-off locations are subject to the instructors approval and must be within a reasonable distance of the original location and within the instructor's planned travel route for the day. Requests outside of this may be declined or may incur an additional charge.

Intensive Courses and Block Bookings

Intensive courses and block booking packages may be cancelled within 7 days of full payment to qualify for a full refund (cooling off period).

Lessons booked weekly over four weeks or more may be considered an intensive course.

Weekend bookings are non-refundable.

Any discounts, promotions or special offers applied to bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.


Rescheduling Policy

Pre-paid block booked lessons may be rescheduled up to two times per block booking. Any further changes may incur an administration fee, up to the value of the lesson price.


Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 48 hours written notice (Monday-Friday) is required to cancel or re-arrange a driving lesson. failure to provide sufficient notice will result in the full lesson fee being charged.

This policy does not apply to intensive driving courses or prepaid driving tests, which are non-refundable.

Billie Smith Driving Solutions reserves the right not to take a pupil to a driving test if the instructor believes the pupil has not reached the required DVSA test standard.


Pricing Policy

Billie Smith Driving Solutions reserves the right to amend lesson bookings, including those scheduled outside normal business operating hours, and to apply charges in relation to cancellations, including block bookings.

Driving tests or lessons requested outside of normal business operating hours will incur an additional hourly charge.

Lesson prices and course fees may be reviewed and adjusted annually. Any lessons or courses already booked and confirmed prior to a price increase will be honoured at the original agreed rate.

Block booking discounts apply to the first block booking per client only. Any subsequent block bookings will be charged at the standard lesson rate, unless otherwise stated.

Billie Smith Driving Solutions reserves the right to withdraw or amend promotional offers and discounts at any time.
